The project of establishing a quality management system based on ISO 9001 standards has begun in Hosseinyeh Ershad Public Library in Tehran.
In a bid to upgrade its services on par with international standards, the library will establish the system in less than six months after which it will be evaluated by one of the international certification organizations before receiving the ISO 9001 certificate, IBNA reported.
The system has been planned to ensure that public organizations meet the demands of their customers.
The library will be the first of its kind in Iran which will receive the certificate if the plan is implemented successfully
A religious institute, Hosseiniyeh Ershad is used for lectures on history, culture, society, and religion.
