IAF to Display Nordic Art

A joint Nordic exhibition titled ‘A Touch of Nordic Art & Culture’ will be held at the Iranian Artist Forum (IAF) in Tehran.
Concurrent with the Nordic cultural week in Tehran, embassies of Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden are organizing the exhibition together with sponsoring Nordic companies and the IAF, said a press release from the Embassy of Sweden in Tehran.
Each country has its own exhibition room in which art, photos and designs from the Nordic countries will be displayed.
June 11 will be ‘Sweden Day’ with special activities focusing on Sweden. The exhibition is an opportunity to present Nordic countries to Iranian audiences.
In the past four years, the IAF has made efforts to enhance its international relations. It has so far held exhibitions of artworks from Switzerland, Poland, Denmark, and organized competitions on the subjects of ‘Nelson Mandela, the Liberty Pigeon’, ‘Japan Earthquake’ and ‘Somalia Hunger’.
The event is slated for June 7-16 at the IAF located at south side of Honar Garden, North Mousavi St., Taleghani Ave.
