Forty-five children and young adults’ books translated into Spanish will be displayed for the first time at the Montevideo International Book Fair.

Uruguayans have been introduced to Persian literature in children’s books published from Iran for the first time, MNA reported.

Works of 20 Iranian authors including books from popular writers Seyed Mehdi Shojaei and Mostafa Rahmandoost have been presented.

In accordance with the advice of Supreme  Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei on translation, the formation of a translation movement will lead to further rendering of Iranian works into Spanish and Portuguese languages.

Besides Iran, countries from Latin America, North America and Europe are participating in the 37th edition of the expo this year which will run from October 1 to 12.
