Reza Yazdani won seventh gold for Iran on the ninth day of the 2014 Asian Games in Incheon, South Korea.

The freestyle wrestler competing in the 97 kg category bagged his third Asiad gold after defeating his Kyrgyz rival 14-4 on Sunday. Two-time world champion Yazdani had already defeated opponents from Mongolia and South Korean on his way to the final bout.

Also on Sunday, Iran's cyclist Arvin Moazami came second to his South Korean rival Jang Kyung-gu in the men's road race after racing the 14-kilometer track at the Songdo Road Cycling Course for a total of 182 kilometers. Moazami tied Jang's record of four hours, seven minutes and 52 seconds, but grabbed the silver medal because of his weaker record for the last 200 meters of the race.

So far, Iran has won seven golds, 9 silvers and 5 bronze medals at the 17th Asian Games, which will run until October 4 in Incheon.
