Turkish filmmaker Eshner Dan Yildiz is planning to make a documentary about the life and virtues of Imam Reza (AS), the eighth Shia Imam.
Speaking at a meeting with Iranian cultural attaché in Turkey, Hassan Safarkhani, Yildiz said he and his assistants will travel to the holy city of Mashhad in the near future to film parts of the documentary.
He added that the documentary will also feature interviews with Turkish scholars, prayer leaders and university professors, IQNA reported.
Safarkhani voiced readiness to facilitate the team’s visit to Mashhad.
Imam Reza’s holy shrine in the city of Mashhad in the northeastern Iranian province of Khorasan Razavi attracts nearly 30 million pilgrims from Iran and other countries, including Iraq, Bahrain, Lebanon, and Pakistan.
