Members of the Majlis Cultural Commission are on a two-day visit to Hyderabad - the capital of the southern Indian state of Andhra Pradesh - to boost Indo-Iran cultural relations, said Iran Consulate General in Hyderabad, Hassan Noorain.
The delegation will meet Iranian residents and students and visit Iranian cultural centers and historical places. They will also inspect Persian manuscripts and visit other cities including Delhi and Mumbai, IRNA reported.
There are 2000 Iranians, more than a quarter who are university students, residing in Hyderabad.
