A cleric is to host a TV show for the first time. ‘Carat 24’, a TV show, would be broadcast from Qur’an channel from September 23 between 9 pm and 10 pm, head of social and documentary programs department at IRIB Qur’an Channel said.
Produced by Ali Zahedi, ‘Carat 24’ reviews the lifestyle of clerics who were martyred, wounded or disabled or taken captive during the 1980-1988 Iran-Iraq war.
In an unprecedented development, Hojjat-ol Islam Barmaee, for the first time in IRIB’s history would host the program. “Efforts are underway to invite other clergies to the program,” Ranjbaran added.
Senior officials, scholars, theologians, clergies, and families of sacred defense martyrs are among the guests of ‘Carat 24’.
