A terminal at Iranshahr Airport was inaugurated in the presence of First Vice President Es'haq Jahangiri on Tuesday.
The terminal has an area of 2,775 square meters, IRNA reported.
Iranshahr Airport is located in the city of Iranshahr, the capital of Iranshahr County in Sistan-Baluchestan Province.
During the inauguration ceremony, Iran Airports Company Director Rahmatollah Mahabadi said the construction of the terminal started in the fiscal March 2016-17 with an initial investment of 490 billion rials ($4.53 million).
Currently, the airport operates three flights per week to the capital city Tehran and Jiroft in Kerman Province.
