Tehran Stock Exchange’s main index lost 530.22 points or 0.29% on Sunday to end trading at 182,918.6.
About 2.12 billion shares valued at $42.04 million changed hands at TSE for the day.
Trading at TSE and Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends Wednesday.
Iran Pharmaceuticals Co. was the biggest winner as its shares went up 7.17% to 6,324 rials per share.
Saadi Tile Co. incurred the biggest loss among all TSE-listed companies and went down 14.28% to 2,390 rials per share.
Mapna Group contributed the most to the benchmark's fall, followed by Pars Petrochemical Company, and Saipa Group.
Golgohar Mining and Industrial Complex gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company, and Omid Investment Group.
The Price Index lost 154.35 points to close at 53,278.1.
The First Market Index was down 448.70 points to post 135,805.3. Second Market Index decreased by 770.44 points to reach 359,311.6.
The Industry Index went down by 360.40 points to register 166,841.6. Free Float Index was down 449.37 points to hit 192,350.75.
The TSE 30 went down 14.41 point to settle at 9,116.2 and the TSE 50 ended 15.96 points lower to finish at 8,101.5.

Iran Fara Bourse’s main index IFX lost 23.64 points or 1.18% to close Sunday trade at 1,984.61.
About 892.32 million securities valued at $32.76 million were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.
Esfahan Steel Company had the highest number of traded shares and trade value as 101.76 million of its shares worth $1.71 million were traded.
East Azarbaijan Pegah Co., Teliseh Nemooneh Co., and Pegah Fars Dairy Company registered the highest value increase.
Tadbirgaran-e Fars and Khuzestan, Damavand Power Generation Company, and Alborz Distribution Co. suffered the biggest decline.
Esfahan Steel Company, Zagros Petrochemical Co, and Damavand Power Generation Company had the most negative impact on IFX.
