    TEDPIX Starts Trade Week at 183,448

    Tehran Stock Exchange’s main index gained 81.54 points or 0.04% on Saturday to end trading at 183,448.8.

    About 2.44 billion shares valued at $54.42 million changed hands at TSE for the day.

    Trading at TSE and Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends Wednesday.

    Abidi Pharmaceuticals was the biggest winner as its shares went up 6.81% to 57,134 rials per share. 

    Behceram Co incurred the biggest loss among all TSE-listed companies and went down 36.18% to 4,202 rials per share.

    Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by Golgohar Mining and Industrial Complex, and Iran National Copper Industry Company.

    Mobarakeh Steel Co. contributed the most to the benchmark's fall, followed by Pars Petrochemical Company, and Isfahan Oil Refining Co.

    The Price Index gained 23.80 points to close at 53,432.5.

    The First Market Index was up 111.24 points to post 136,254.8.  Second Market Index increased by 992.97 points to reach 360,083.

    The Industry Index went up by 67.13 points to register 167,202.1. Free Float Index was down 264.73 points to hit 193,252.26.

    The TSE 30 went up 1.09 point to settle at 9,130.6 and the TSE 50 ended 13.12 points higher to finish at 8,117.5.

    Iran Fara Bourse’s main index IFX lost 9.91 points or 0.49% to close Saturday trade at 2,008.25.

    About 877.71 million securities valued at $22.44 million were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.

    Esfahan Steel Company had the highest number of traded shares and trade value as 84.83 million of its shares worth $1.47 million were traded.

    Kish Parsian Electronic Commerce, Sabzevar Lar Cement Co., and Atieh Dadeh Pardaz Company registered the highest value increase.

    Iran Cultural Heritage and Tourism Investment Group, Alborz Distribution Company, and Ghadir Petrochemical Co. suffered the biggest decline.

    Marun Petrochemical Company, Zagros Petrochemical Co, and Arfa Steel Co. had the most negative impact on IFX.

    TSE Index Shows 90% Growth

    More than 312.18 billion shares and rights issue worth 929.95 trillion rials ($6.36 billion) have been traded since the beginning of the current fiscal (March 21) until October 31 during 146 working days in 17.81 million deals.

    According to market reports, 209.35 billion shares worth 534.52 trillion rials ($3.66 billion) were traded in the first market in 9.63 million deals during the period under review, while trade in the second market stood at 97.8 billion shares worth 308.66 trillion rials ($2.11 billion) in eight million deals, IBENA reported.

    Debt market trading was recorded at 55 million shares worth 53.45 trillion rials ($366.15 million) in 24,519 deals, derivatives market at 1.4 billion shares worth 54 billion rials ($369,863) in 2,786 deals, and exchange-traded funds at 3.24 billion points worth 33.25 trillion rials ($227.75 million) in 145,820 deals.

    TSE's main index that started the year at 96,290 grew by 87,077 points (90%) to reach 183,367. First market index and second market index both witnessed increases by 68,242 points and 152,603 points respectively during the period.
