Automated Polling at Tehran Railway Station

Twenty devices for conducting automated (or interactive voice response) polls have been installed at Tehran Railway Station to facilitate passengers’ interactions with supervisory bodies and improve the performance assessment of service providers at the rail station, the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development reported on its website.

Complaints and proposals forwarded by passengers would be used to identify deficiencies that need further improvement, said the director of Tehran Railway Station, Abedin Hadinejad.

“New needs and shortages at the station will come to light with the help of surveys and opinion polls.”
