Mouteh Gold Mine produced 175 kilograms of gold ingots during the first four months of the current fiscal year (March 21-July 22), registering a 29% growth compared with last year’s corresponding period, Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization reported. Forty-five kilograms were produced in the month ending July 22, showing a 25% rise year-on-year. Iran’s first exploited deposit of the precious mineral, Mouteh Gold Mine, is located in Meymeh County in Isfahan Province and operates with an annual output capacity of 300,000 kilograms.
