Arnavaz traditional ensemble, led by kamancheh player Nasim Arbabi, will hold a concert on August 23 at Vahdat Hall.
Repertoire of the concert includes 14 compositions by renowned masters including traditional composer and arranger Morteza Neydavoud (1900-1990); composer, author and theater director Abdol-Hossein Barazandeh (1893-1971); traditional composer and tar player Gholam-Hossein Darvish (1872-1926) aka Darvish Khan; composer, violinist and songwriter Ali Tajvidi (1919-2006); and traditional composer, conductor; and kamancheh player Navid Dehqan, 34.
Dehqan will take part and play the kamancheh. Other instrumentalists are santur player Ali-Reza Geranfar, Behzad Ravaqi on tar and Morteza Sanayei on ney.
