Iran traded 1.16 million tons of non-oil commodities worth $537.42 million with Oman during the first four months of the current fiscal year (March 21-July 22), registering a 58.09% and 115.3% growth in tonnage and value respectively compared with last year’s corresponding period, the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration’s statistics indicate.
Iran’s exports to Oman stood at 899,303 tons worth $300.92 million, up 29.71% and 56.81% in tonnage and value respectively year-on-year. Oman was Iran’s 10th biggest export destination during the period.
Iran mainly exported oil gases, hydrocarbides, semi-finished metal and steel products, and low-density oil to Oman during the four-month period.
Oman exported 267.28 tons of goods worth $236.50 million to Iran, up 499.09% and 309.74% in tonnage and value respectively YOY. Oman was the 14th major exporter of goods to Iran over the four months.
The imports mainly included vehicles, field corn and pharmaceutical supplements.
