More than 622 tons of aqua feed additives worth $1.9 million were imported into Iran from eight countries in the last Iranian year (March 2017-18), figures released by the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration show.
The imports were made mainly from Germany, Italy, Belgium, South Korea, China, Denmark, France and Malta, Mizan Online reported.
Aqua feed additives are used to reduce the impact of diseases and parasites, enhance digestive and metabolic efficiency, improve appetite and add nutritional value to the feed.
