Iranian authorities are pushing ahead with construction plans of a subway station in Hashtgerd, a city in Alborz Province west of Tehran.
According to the public relations office of Hashtgerd New Town Construction Company, there had been some complications in regard to some of the lands the subway line and Hashtgerd station are to be constructed on.
According to the office, the ownership problem has been resolved and the construction plan is going ahead, reported ISNA.
The company also reported that if everything goes according to plan, the station’s construction will be completed by September.
According to earlier reports, Hashtgerd station is to be connected to the Golshahr Station.
The firm’s director, Mehdi Hedayat, has said that the Golshahr-Hashtgerd Line will be launched by the end of the current year (March 20, 2019).
“Completing the Hashtgerd Metro project requires a 700 billion rial [$16.6 million] investment, promised to be provided by the Plan and Budget Organization,” added Hedayat.
