70% Discount on Northern Ports’ Export Tariff

Discounts of up to 70% will be offered on export tariff to help boost exports through Iranian northern ports, the deputy head of Ports and Maritime Organization said. Noting that discounts on export tariff amounted to 3,500 billion rials ($83.3 million) in the last fiscal year (March 2017-18), Mohammad Ali Hassanzadeh added that PMO is determined to reduce the final cost of export services offered at northern ports, including Amirabad, Astara, Noshahr, Fereydounkenar and Anzali, the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development’s news outlet reported.
