Khorasan Razavi Export Value Up 35 Percent

The northeastern province of Khorasan Razavi exported 472,000 tons of commodities valued at $345 million during the first two months of the current fiscal year (started March 21), registering an increase of 30% and 35% in tonnage and value respectively compared with the previous year’s corresponding period, the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration announced. 

According to Mohammad Ali Amir-Fakhrian, the head of Khorasan Razavi Industries, Mining and Trade Organization, the commodities from the province were exported to 88 destinations, mainly to Central Asian and European countries, IRNA reported.

The Iranian province has two border crossings: Dogharoun with Afghanistan and Bajgiran with Turkmenistan.
