More than two dozen types of different commodities were offered by 27 suppliers on Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME)’s oil and petrochemical trading floor on Saturday.
According to the IME’s public relations and foreign affairs office, Pasargad Oil Company offered about 22,900 tons of various grades of bitumen while Jey Oil Refining Company offered 30,300 tons of the same product. Ilan Gas Treating Company supplied close to 500 tons of granulated sulfur.
Some 31,500 tons of various chemicals were also supplied on the same floor. Epoxy resin, styrene butadiene rubber, hydrochloric acid, styrene monomer, nitric acid, heavy aromatic, ammonium, paraxylene, polyethylene, poly butadiene rubber, polycarbonate, polyvinyl chloride, toluene diisocyanate, and caustic soda were among the chemicals being traded there on the week’s first trading day. The export trading floor played host to 14,650 tons of bitumen, as well as 100 tons of roof insulation. Overall, 99,458 tons of various commodities were traded on the IME’s spot market on Sunday.
