Iran imported more than 28,117 tons of peanuts worth $33.88 million during the last fiscal year (March 2017-18), Mizan Online reported, citing data from the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration.
With 14,310 tons worth more than $18 million, China was the biggest exporter of peanuts to Iran during the period. Other exporters included the UAE, Turkey, India, Afghanistan, Uzbekistan and Nigeria.
