    Waiting and Watching

Hepta Art Gallery features paintings by painter and sketch artist Tannaz Tavasoli.

Titled ‘Agaze,’ the exhibit is of 20 acrylic-on-board paintings she has created over 18 months.

The paintings are portraits and human figures “waiting and watching until something happens and changes their existing state. They are living in a slow, frozen world full of stress, confusion and anxiety,” Tiwall.com quoted Tavassoli as saying.

Tavasoli said the present series started with a self-portrait she was painting in one of her days gone bad.

Agaze opened on April 20 and will end May 2. Hepta Gallery is located at No. 3, Nikoushahr Dead-end, west of Artists Park, Iranshahr Street, Karim Khan Avenue.
