On Thursday from 9:30 am to 1 pm, Zhiwaar Tour will take enthusiasts to see a few attractions in Sangelaj, an old neighborhood in downtown Tehran.
During a walk around the streets and alleyways, visitors will be briefed on the history of the famed places of the neighborhood, mostly belonging to the Qajar era (1786-1925).
Rendezvous is Imam Khomeini Metro Station, Khayyam Gate. On the itinerary are Saint Georg Church, the paternal house of accomplished nuclear physicist Mahmoud Hesabi (1903-1992), Qoli Pathway as well as Mostowfi Mosque and Pathway.
