Thailand was the biggest exporter of sweet corn to Iran during the 11 months to Feb. 19, as it shipped more than $6.85 million worth of the crop during the period.
Latest figures released by the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration show close to 12,100 tons of sweet corn worth 368.85 billion rials (around $10.92 million) were imported into Iran over the 11 months under review.
Other major exporters to Iran were Spain, the UAE, Belgium, China, Switzerland, Lebanon, Hungary and India, Mizan Online reported.
