Measures have been taken for decontamination of Karkhe River, following a fracture in the gasoil transmission pipeline in Lorestan Province and the oil flow into the river, said Head of the Department of Environment (DoE) Masoumeh Ebtekar. A large number of fish and aquatic creatures died as a result, Mehr News Agency reported.
