An agreement was signed between Iran and the Czech Republic on Monday to support mutual investment.
It was signed by the head of the Organization for Investment, Economic and Technical Assistance of Iran, Mohammad Khazaei, and Czech Republic Ambassador to Iran Svatopluk Cumba, IRNA reported. After meeting with Deputy Minister of Finance of Czech Republic Ondrej Landa on the sidelines of the signing ceremony, Minister of Economy Masoud Karbasian said the cooperation agreement with the Czech Republic prepares the ground for expansion of cooperation with other European Union member states.
Karbasian added that the next joint economic commission meeting between the two countries is to be held in Tehran early next year.
According to Karbasian, power plant equipment, pharmaceuticals, car-manufacturing and spare parts are among suitable grounds for mutual cooperation. Landa told reporters that the signed agreement is supportive of the investors of both states.
