    Exports to Kazakhstan Up, Imports Down

    Iran exported over 185,000 tons of commodities worth $64.93 million to Kazakhstan during the first six months of the current fiscal year (started March 21), registering a 53.23% and 1.61% growth in weight and value respectively compared with last year’s corresponding period, data from the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration showed.

    Iran’s imports from Kazakhstan during the same period witnessed considerable year-on-year declines of 82.61% and 76.78% in weight and value respectively compared with the same period of last year when imports stood at 46,769 tons worth $10.86 million.
