Close to 47,000 tons of sunflower seeds worth more than 1.54 trillion rials (nearly $44.8 million) were imported into Iran during the first four months of the current Iranian year (started March 21), the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration announced.
China, with over 28,000 tons, topped the list of countries from where the product was imported over the period. It was followed by the UAE, the United States, Russia, Switzerland, Bulgaria and Turkey, Mizan Online reported.
