Mouteh Gold Mine produced 136 kilograms of gold ingots during the first four months of the current fiscal year (March 21-July 22), registering a 48% growth compared with last year’s corresponding period, Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization reported. Thirty-six kilograms were produced in the fourth month, showing a 44% rise year-on-year. Iran’s first exploited deposit of the precious mineral, Mouteh Gold Mine, is located in Meymeh County in Isfahan Province and operates with an annual output capacity of 300,000 kilograms.
