‘Nostalgia’ by 3 Master Sculptors

Three Iranian master sculptors have set up an exhibition at Farmanfarma Art Gallery in Tehran.

Titled ‘Nostalgia’ the group exhibition is held by Kambiz Sabri, 50; Behrouz Heshmat, 67, and Qodratollah Aqeli, 49.

The exhibition opened on June 30 and will run through July 21, ISNA reported. Except Mondays, the gallery is open all days from 11 am-8 pm, and on Fridays from 4-8 pm.

‘Nostalgia’ is an exhibition of sculptures, arrangements, installations and video arts. But the artworks are not there to induce longing for the past, as their creators say.

According to the introduction of the event, what the three artists are trying to convey with their ongoing exhibit is actually the longing for being in the “now” whose ingredients are getting torn apart with each passing moment.

Farmanfarma Art Gallery is located on 2nd A’rabi Alley, North Kheradmand Street, Karimkhan Blvd.
