Iran Hepatitis Network will hold a sketching contest for the first time to help increase public awareness about hepatitis and other liver diseases.
The contest, whose slogan is “eliminating viral hepatitis”, is scheduled to be held on the sidelines of Seventh International Tehran Hepatitis Conference (Sept. 6-8), ISNA reported.
Those interested can submit their artworks, either drawings or illustrations, to the festival by Aug. 6. The winners will be announced on Sept. 8.

Around 1.4 million suffer from hepatitis B while between 200,000 and 300,000 are infected with hepatitis C. The government has pledged to eradicate hepatitis C by 2025.
