The pilot plan for electronic prescribing will begin this year and hemophilia patients will be among the first to benefit from the plan, said Akbar Abdollahi, deputy for policy and regulation at the Food and Drugs Administration. He told ISNA that electronic prescribing is part of the Medicine Tracking Project which “includes monitoring all medicines and hygiene products from the time they are manufactured or imported until they are purchased by consumers.”
