A German tourist trapped in Khoda Afarin Bridge woodland, between Ardal and Koohrang towns in Charmahal-Bakhtiari Province, was rescued by the provincial Emergency Medical Services. Yojana Katrina, 26, had sprained her ankle and sustained injury after falling from a height. She was rescued on Friday evening after a three-hour operation by the team, said Mohsen Ebrahimi, public relations head of the provincial EMS. He added that the German woman, who was immediately transferred to a local medical facility and later to the Farsan hospital in the provincial capital Shahrekord, is well and recovering, IRNA reported. Ardal and Koohrang are 90 km from Shahrekord.
