400 Iranian Titles at Muscat Book Fair

Iran is participating in the 2017 Muscat International Book Fair in Oman with 400 book titles.

The 22nd edition of the book fair from February 22-March 4 will host 590 publishers from 28 countries and 160 representatives of publishing houses, Mehr News Agency reported. 

All in all, the event features 450,000 book titles in the various pavilions spread over an area of more than 12,000 sq meters.

Iran Cultural Fairs Institute, representing a number of Iranian publications, will present 400 book titles in contemporary, classic and children’s literature, Iranian studies and calligraphy, among other subjects.

The guest of honor at Iran’s pavilion is Ebrahim Hassan Beygi, 60, author of ‘Mohammad, Prophet of Faith and Generous Forgiveness.’ His book will be presented both in English and Arabic editions.

Officials of Iran Cultural Fairs Institute will interact with foreign publishers at the event and invite them to participate in the upcoming Tehran International Book Fair. The institute will introduce Iran’s publishing capacities and offer CDs and catalogues for the Tehran fair.
