    14 Medals for Iranian Inventors at 2017 TID

    Iranian inventors bagged a total of 14 medals for their inventions among more than 1,000 works at the 2017 Thailand Inventors’ Day (TID) in Bangkok.

    Iran competed in the 20th round of TID along with 20 other countries including Poland, host Thailand, China, Japan, South Korea, Indonesia, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Lebanon, UAE, Egypt, and Switzerland.

    Thailand observes February 2nd as ‘Inventors’ Day’ each year and holds a 5-day exhibition to introduce and award the best innovations from across the world, and provide a platform for seeking business opportunity, cooperation or investment. 

    The winning inventions from Iran included innovations in medicine, environment, road traffic, water purification, as well as prosthetic arms and limbs which won the gold medals. The 20th TID concluded on February 6 at Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Center, IRNA reported.
