Iranian photographer and documentarian Hamid Reza Zeynali, 43, has curated a photography exhibition in collaboration with 146 of his peers.
The exhibit ‘Human’ will open on January 20 at Azadi Tower in Tehran and will run through January 27, according to the website of Young Photographers Club, yphc.ir.
The show features a total of 156 photographs taken by students of various photography courses conducted by Zeynali through several years at Tehran’s University of Applied Science and Technology (UAST), affiliated to the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology.
Zeynali has called on his students to present photos that show human beings in three different perspectives.
Participants were asked to adopt one of the three approaches: ‘Human and Technology,’ ‘Human and Nature’ and ‘Human and Loneliness.’ In their choice of technique, however, the photographers were free.
The exhibit will simultaneously be held at Azadi Tower’s three galleries Boustan, Aqvam and Ayineh. Visiting hours are 9 am-5 pm.
