    Yazdani Focuses on Eco-Lyrics

Celebrated Iranian singer, composer, guitarist and actor Reza Yazdani has released a single track with eco-lyrics.

‘I’m on Edge’ (Persian: ‘A’sab Nadaram’) is Yazdani’s latest composition, prepared for his live performance scheduled on January 4, 2017 at Tehran’s Milad Tower.

The lyrics are written by prolific poet and lyricist Mehdi Ayoubi who has a long history of cooperation with Yazdani, 43, according to musiceiranian.ir.

In this track, Yazdani’s voice “is raspy and tired” in tune with a rendition of the lyrics on the polluted metropolis of Tehran and other environmental issues.

The singer identifies with the desiccated Urmia Lake in northwestern Iran. He tells about his own desperation in a city “where nights come and go without showing the Moon and stars, which are obscured by thick haze and dust.”

The song is composed by rock musician and singer Houman Ajdari, 39. The mixing and arrangement is done by composer, pianist, arranger and lyricist Mohammad Khorrami, 33.

The producer of the track is actor and standup comedian Ali Owji, 35, who has so far produced six albums by Yazdani, in addition to his cooperation with other famous musicians such as Mani Rahnama, Houman Javid and Kaveh Afaq.

‘I’m on Edge’ is available online at musiceiranian.ir, a portal for Iranian Music.

Yazdani is a rock musician and has released seven albums and numerous single tracks. He mostly uses the guitar, in particular the electric guitar. He has performed several concerts at Milad Tower since the release of his third album ‘Hiss’ in 2006.
