The Iranian nation's support for the Islamic Republic has remarkably immunized the country against threats and foreign pressure, Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said. "As an Iranian citizen, I am proud that the Islamic Republic has gained remarkable immunity to threats, sanctions and foreign pressure with the presence of our country's people," Zarif said at a conference on geopolitical crises in the Muslim world in Tehran on Monday, Tasnim News Agency reported. The top Iranian diplomat highlighted the significance of "unity" as a geopolitical strategy vis-à-vis division, stressing that moderation should be employed to fight off extremism and discord. Zarif also praised the Lebanese Hezbollah resistance movement as a factor contributing to regional security. The ongoing conference in Tehran is being attended by experts and Muslim clerics from Iran and other countries, including Lebanon, Iraq and France.
