An official at the Department of Environment said they are cooperating with cyber police to combat sales of animals on the web. Masoud Alikhani told ISNA that the large-scale transactions as well as the shortage of staff make it impossible to track all illegal sales on the Internet. He also denied that any permit has been issued for home zoos in the past two years.
