A South Korean identification card solution company has bagged a deal to supply electronic ID cards to Iran. SME Networks will supply 60 million chips for electronic ID cards to the Iranian government in the next five years, 10 million of which will be exported within this year through a deal worth about $50 million, Yonhap reported.
