In a tragic accident on Wednesday evening, three employees of the Tehran Regional Electric Co. (TREC) lost their lives while on duty. According to the Young Journalists Club, the three were on an inspection visit to a high voltage transmission tower in Sulqan Rural District in northeast Tehran Province. On their way back, the company car in which the trio was travelling plunged off a cliff. All three were declared dead at the scene of the accident, the police reported. A probe was launched into the fatal accident.
