Iran has signed a memorandum of understanding with the UK for transfer of technology in the rail industry. CEO of Islamic Republic of Iran Railways and deputy minister of roads and urban development, Mohsen Pourseyyed-Aqaei, and his British counterpart, Robert Goodwill, signed the MoU in London on Wednesday. Britain is reportedly interested in cooperating with Iran for the manufacture of high-speed trains, according to the ministry’s news portal.
