Call for Investment in Health Sector

Iran’s Economy Minister Ali Tayyebnia sought to reassure foreign investors that the Iranian market is a sound option. Speaking at an international forum held on investment in Iran’s health sector in Tehran on Saturday, Tayyebnia said, “Our tax rates would never go beyond 25% and businesses set up in free trade and special economic zones will enjoy a 20-year tax exemption,” Mehr News Agency reported. The minister reiterated that the Iranian government would throw its weight behind investment in the health sector since it attaches great importance to improvement of public health and wellbeing.
