MPs Urge Response to US Hostility

A group of lawmakers called on President Hassan Rouhani to stop implementing the nuclear deal if the US continues to violate the accord and maintains its hostile policies against Iran. As many as 102 legislators on Monday urged the president to set a deadline for reconsidering Iran's voluntary implementation of nuclear-related measures under the agreement, Press TV reported. They asked the government to resume all nuclear activities under the Non-Proliferation Treaty in case the US refuses to return $2 billion recently taken away from frozen Iranian assets.
