Sexual health clinics will be launched in 17 provinces of the country in the near future, said Mohammad Eslami, head of the Family Health Department at the Health Ministry. “We have proposed a bill as per which young couples living in the provinces should get medical checks and receive mandatory counseling in the centers before registering their marriage,” IRNA quoted him as saying. Consultancy and treatment will be covered by insurance at the clinics. The provinces include Isfahan, Khorasan Razavi, Fars, Tehran, Qom, Gilan, Mazandaran and Alborz.
