Officials from Iran University of Medical Sciences and the UK’s University of Lancaster discussed scientific and technical cooperation in Tehran on Tuesday. The two sides signed agreements related to scientific and technical cooperation, joint training courses, joint research and seminars and teachers and student exchange programs. The cooperation would also contribute to improving the global presence of universities in the Islamic Republic, Mehr News Agency reported. Lancaster University, a public and collegiate research-intensive university is ranked amongst the top 10 institutions within the national ranking systems in the United Kingdom.
