Hot Days Ahead

Iran’s temperature is expected to continue to rise above normal levels in the coming weeks, according to the National Center for Climatology. The country’s average temperature began to rise above the long-term average on February 29, and the trend will continue until March 29, according to Habib Nokhandan, director of the NCC. “By the end of the period, the temperature will be 1.5 degrees Celsius above the long-term average,” he told ISNA, adding that the temperature “should return to normal shortly thereafter.” He continued: “It is important to be judicious with water consumption during this time, more so than normal.”
