Ankara Hosts Iranian Artworks

An exhibition of artworks by three young Iranian artists is on view at Guven Park gallery in Ankara, Turkey.

They include paintings by Ehsan Hassani, Vahid Ahmadzadeh and Seyyed Hadi Haq-Rahmani from West Azarbaijan Province, IRNA reported.

Iran’s Cultural Attaché in Turkey Hassan Safarkhani, and several art students and enthusiasts were present at the exhibition opening on March 4.

Pointing to the cultural and historical commonalities between the two sides, Safarkhani said: “The exhibit is a good opportunity to introduce classic and modern art by Iranian artists to Turkish visitors.”

Art provides a valuable platform for developing “aesthetic viewpoints in life and interpersonal relationships,” he added, noting that such cultural events are messages of friendship between nations.

Arrangements were also made to hold two more Iranian exhibitions at the gallery and a photo exhibition in Ankara metro stations.

The exhibition will run through March 14.
