Iran is planning to sign a memorandum of understanding with Switzerland for academic cooperation between the University of Isfahan, University of Tehran and Sharif University of Technology and a prestigious Swiss universities soon, deputy science minister for international affairs, Hossein Salar Amoli, said. He did not specify the Swiss university.
“A high-ranking delegation headed by Swiss President Johann Schneider-Ammann is visiting Iran next week to discuss cooperation especially in the fields of science and technology,” he said, Mehr News Agency reported. The delegation includes officials from the Swiss Ministry of Science as well as academia.
