President Hassan Rouhani on Wednesday felicitated his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping on the Chinese New Year. In his letter to Xi, Rouhani congratulated the Chinese nation and government on the occasion, according to Tasnim News Agency. Xi had referred to his recent visit to Iran, saying that the "successful" visit opened a new chapter in Tehran-Beijing ties.
