Ahead of the public rally on the anniversary of the 1979 Islamic Revolution (Bahaman 22) on February 11, police has announced some traffic restrictions in the capital. Tehran Traffic Police Chief Teymoor Hosseini said the first phase of the traffic curbs will start on February 10 at 11 pm around Azadi Square and on Enghelab Avenue. Several streets and highways leading to Azadi Sq. will also be closed on Wednesday till the end of the rally on Thursday, ISNA reported. The West Bus Terminal in the vicinity of the iconic square will remain closed from 9 pm Wednesday till the end of the rally.
